This year, the weather really held out for the entire season!
After enjoying all kinds of fun at the Water Spray Park,
and amidst some really great music (see below), we handed out nearly a thousand FREE helium balloons, and all kinds of great giveaways to the kids (courtesy of the good folks at Westfield Bank).
Raffle prizes were especially popular this year, too. Two lucky Grand Prize winners each went home with a $250 VISA card! Hundreds of folks took a chance to become winners in our weekly and Grand Prize Raffle drawings, with many stopping by just to say "Hi"!
(...or to add a new "doodle" to their collection! :-)
And of course our friends in the Agawam Lions' Club once again served up hundreds of those great Summertime treats, such as hot dogs, hamburgers, and fried dough, while the Agawam Rotary Club purveyed lots of popcorn, ice cream, and cold drinks to the enthusiastic crowds. We were glad to see the Veteran's Association join us again this year, providing FREE face-painting for the kids, and educating folks on their continuing efforts in support of our veterans.
National Night Out was as exciting and fun as ever -- with everything from the thrill of a State Police helicopter touching down behind the stage, to some lively Rosie Robotics demonstrations --
... and the crowd for "KIX night" was just amazing!!

So... many thanks to all who attended, with a special thanks to Chris Sparks and the staff of the Agawam Parks and Recreation Dep't
for their invaluable support and assistance!
